A Daily Photography Challenge
I will be taking a photo a day to help the American Cancer Society fight for a world without cancer. The American Cancer Society is a leading cancer-fighting organization with a vision to end cancer as we know it. They have been improving the lives of people with cancer and their families for over 100 years. Using a combination of research, patient support, and advocacy they are able to make sure that everyone has the chance to prevent, detect, treat, and survive cancer!!
Why I decided to join the challenge
We all know someone who has suffered through cancer. For me, that person is my mom. I am so thankful to be able to say she is an ovarian cancer survivor. I was very young when she was diagnosed and beat it. This month long challenge gives me the opportunity to use my gifts to help raise money for an organization I believe is important! Not just to me, but to everyone who is or has been affected by cancer. Whether that person is a loved one or themselves.
How does it work?
Each day during the month of October, I will be posting a photo a day on my Facebook page dedicated to this fundraiser. Each week has a different theme and each day I will be a different image. My goal is to raise $250 for the American Cancer Society. You can help by following along my month long journey! Even if you are not able to donate, still follow along and share my progress with others!! Every donation big or small will help me reach my goal!
